Wildlife Photos from Around the World

By Judi Helsby

In 2018 we went to The Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil staying in the very comfortable Eco-lodge Itororó. Our leader was the brilliant bird guide Andy Foster who is British but has a first class knowledge of the birds based on many years of working at different reserves in this area. The weather was not what it should have been and we had a lot of rain – “but it’s a rainforest” I hear you say. Even rainforests have wet and dry periods. Anyway, the rain didn’t prevent our trips out, although it did delay the plans – the birds don’t like to get wet either unless they are water birds!!

Enjoy this selection of some of the birds we saw. Click on any photo for a larger view.

Hi Judi – some fabulous images of a great selection of birds. Andy is a fantastic bird guide that gets his clients onto most of the birds even the skulkers. The lodge delivers on cake and coffee like nowhere I’ve ever been to!

  3. Itís hard to find well-informed people on this topic, however, you seem like you know what youíre talking about! Thanks
