What an adventure and such an interesting island.

March 2022 we ventured further afield to the beautiful island of Cuba on a birding trip. A group of 11 birders of varying experience and expertise led by a guide from the Cuban Tourist industry and what a gem Nathaly turned out to be. Not only was she extremely good at her job of organizing and looking after the group but she also had a wide knowledge of the places we visited and was an excellent birder too. The group all got on well and a wide variety of birds were seen including most of the endemics.

We visited 4 main birding areas where we picked up local bird guides as they had knowledge of the birds in their area and where to find them.
