Our first trip away from the UK since coronavirus lockdown and travel rules. We booked this trip very “last minute” and thought it would be a short return to wildlife. We also hoped to see warmer weather and maybe a couple of new birds.
We joined a super group of like minded people who were all very friendly. Our guides, Simon and Nikki were both excellent with expert knowledge of all the wildlife from birds and mammals to butterflies and wild flowers. We stayed in the Wild West town of El Rocio – a step back in history and a town built for horses rather than cars.
I was trying out a new camera and so I did miss a few photographic opportunities but here is a selection from the trip. Click on each photo to get a larger view.
